Tutoring English in Spain?
I am a native English speaker in the USA with a desire to go to Spain for a while (two years?) and teach English as a private tutor.
I don’t have a degree in any field, but I do know my English pretty well. I can teach basic English if that’s all I can be allowed to do; however, I know a degree from an accredited college would have made this endeavor more likely.
Do you think there is demand for this in Spain nowadays? I realize that Spain is in a bit of an economic situation, so I don’t know if large numbers of parents are going to be willing to spend an X amount of Euros an hour to have their kids learn English.
I have dual citizenship, so I believe I won’t have trouble staying in Spain.
Is there a market for private English tutors? How much do you think I could make per year, average? Not looking to be rich. Just something new.
