How many times a weeks should I have a Tutor come?

Hi Moms – My son is entering 3rd grade and we are starting with a summer tutor and I wanted some opinions. How many times a week do you think we should have sessions and how long should the sessions be each time? He is 8 years old and will be getting lessons in language arts and math. Thank you
AMINALLO.. I would love to let him enjoy his summer without any lessons, the problem is he has difficulties in school within a classroom and needs help all year long. My son wants the extra help so he doesn’t have to struggle so hard.

I would say twice a week for about an hour of two. You don’t want to over load him (it is summer vacation) but you want him to spend enough time on his studies.
